Llanishen Golf Club was awarded the prestigious Golf Club Manager Association 'Team of the Year Award' in November 2019.

This bi-annual award is open to over 2500 golf clubs across the whole of the UK, and the team at Llanishen went through a rigorous short-listing and interview process over a number of months. The club was represented by Martin Stevens (General Manager), Mark Wilshire (Head Greenkeeper), Adrian Jones (Professional), Andy Hulse (Former Assistant Manager) and Rusty Hession (Captain) at the De Vere Cotswold Water Resort for the awards dinner.

This was truly a team effort and every single employee of the golf club played their part in the club winning this award.
